In this article I am goin to explain about these 3 major awards.
Padma Vibhushan
- Second highest National Civilian award
- Instituted by the govt of India in 2nd Jan 1954
- Awarded to recognize exceptional and distinguished service to the nation in any field.
Padma Bhushan
- Third highest National Civilian award
- Instituted by the govt of India in 2nd Jan 1954
- Awarded to recognize distinguished service to the nation of high order in any field
Padma Shri
- This is fourth highest national civilian award, instituted by the GoI on 2nd Jan 1954.
- In 1960 Dr. M.G. Ramachandran refused to accept the award as the writings of the award is in hindi.
- I t recognizes the contribution of Indian citizen in the field of Arts, Education, Industry, literature, Science, Sports, Social Service and Public Life.
